At Hunter-Gatherer, we don’t just make wine - we farm with nature. Every bottle is grown through regenerative methods that heal the soil, nurture biodiversity, and return more than we take.

Featured wine
Macedon Ranges
A blend that’s as easygoing as a summer afternoon – Merlot (80%) and Cabernet (17%) from our Macedon vineyards, with a cheeky splash of Heathcote Sangiovese (3%). De-stemmed, basket-pressed, and left to ferment happily in stainless steel with cultured yeast. Fresh, bright, and made for good company.

Macedon Ranges
From the Glenhope Vineyard on the north-west tip of the Macedon Ranges, where 30-year-old vines dig into decomposed granite soils farmed by James & Marlin Gevergizian and Scott Harrington. De-stemmed into open vats, wild-fermented with indigenous yeast, then aged 16 months in seasoned oak.
A medium-light bodied Cabernet with cool-climate vibes: cassis, blackcurrant, anise and violets. Bright and approachable now, but if you’ve got the patience, it will only get better with time.
Free shipping on all orders over $300.
A fizzy, feel-good blend of Merlot and a touch of Riesling, both from our home vineyard in Pipers Creek, Macedon Ranges. Fresh, lively and a little wild, this Pet Nat (short for Pétillant Naturel) is made the old-school way - the original method of sparkling, simple and delicious.

About us
Hunter-Gatherer is where soil health, slow winemaking and good conversation meet. We’re here for people who care where their wine comes from.
From the cover crops in the vineyard to the wine in your glass, everything we do is about connection to place and care for the land.
You don’t just taste the wine here – you get to understand where it comes from, straight from the person who made it.

Sustainability
Think worms in the soil, birds in the trees, and solar on the roof - that’s what regeneration looks like here. A journey of small wins that add up to wine with more life in every glass.
